BuddyPress: Social Wordpress

BuddyPress is a suite of plugins for WordpressMU that will work together to create a social network of your own.

The Wordpress.com network is already pretty social. And a WordpressMU installation allows you to do the same thing, but on your own turf. But since Andy at Automattic.com created a fully-featured social network last year using WordpressMU, called ChickSpeak, he’s been working on BuddyPress.

BuddyPress is a suite of plugins for WordpressMU that will work together to create a social network of your own. You can download the plugins from GoogleCode.

Each plugin handles a separate BuddyPress feature, meaning you can pick and choose which features you want to include.
