Any philosophy that can be put in a nutshell belongs there. Branch Rickey
Particularly useful for my old man’s new Linux computer I’ve given him; you can search through commercial software on this site and find some workable open-source alternatives. [19:28:43]
This is a really handy tool. I recently upgraded my computer, which included Windows Vista, and reusing CDs and DVDs to quickly store data is a great idea. Storage space isn’t reusable though. [19:16:25]
View Flickr and Facebook photos as an ‘immersive’ 3d wall. Very cool, and actually makes looking through people’s photo albums more pleasurable. Also features photo and video search across a bunch of platforms. [16:19:53]
In firefox, before running the actual tests, different professionals like 1z0-042 and 642-552 are asked to test run first. The project is called of if even a 642-436 or a 70-272 notifies the authority of a clink.
So glad I found this site. The bootlegs of Vangelis’ Blade Runner soundtrack are perfect listening material when you can’t watch the movie itself. [08:47:20]
A month-long advertising subscription on @ischafer’s Twitter profile went for over a grand this week. That’s around $2 per follower - less than I have - for a background image and avatar. Interesting stuff. [21:34:31]
After more than 34 months of active development, and with the contributions of thousands, we’re proud to announce that we’re ready. It is our expectation to ship Firefox 3 this upcoming Tuesday, June 17th. [10:57:19]
Just added comments, Ffffound pics and Flickr favourites to appear on my site’s front page. I enjoy adding new and different content. Updating was never this easy.
The comments use my currently too-hyped Disqus posts, Flickr is, of course, powered by my Flickr favourites and Ffffound at my profile. Plus I’m pulling my del.icio.us bookmarks through here.
All of these I’ve cleaned out and started fresh.
My laptop is one of the most convenient and freeing devices I’ve ever used. On par with my cell phone. Only, there are a few things I’m still yet to pair with this little tech gem.
1. Laptop Bath Table
I want to be able to type freely while I bath in the warm, affordable luxury that is a bath. A laptop bath table would be simple: a swivel platform with towel-fashioned padding.1
2. Laptop Toilet Table
I take my laptop when I sit on the toilet. It’s pretty much the reason I bought the damn thing, so I’d like a more comfortable arrangement. Built-in speakers would hit the spot.2
3. An extra laptop battery and battery charger
Saves ever having to plug the damn thing in. Imagine spending an entire work day in the park…3

We threw a MASSIVE party at my place on Saturday. Highlights include:
Completely lifted our rep this week. Next one in a few weeks. See photos.
Damn Tumblr. The ease and simplicity of reblogging has completely got me hooked over there. So much so, I’ve neglected this blog and begun posting original - and really, really, interesting - content over there!
What’s that about? Let’s not just let Twitter keep this site updated now. Needless to say, I’ll be nicer to crrrg.com from now on.
thought i’d need more followers, actually
oh this made the tumblr radar. i thought that might make it; it was from a very clever article. don’t think it increased my readership by much, tho.

Decided to make my Tumblr look like my Wordpress site. Could still use some work, but is pretty much all there. Integration is about that simple.

The Tumblr staff have finally decided to change their own blog from Wordpress to the platfrom they’re there to promote, Tumblr.
Yes, it’s totally silly that one year after launching Tumblr, we’re moving the official Tumblr blog off of Wordpress because it was too much work to update. — staff.tumblr.com
It made sense when they began, I guess, because Tumblr has never had a good system for group blogs; and they no doubt needed a platform where they could have multiple authors, ie Wordpress.
Now, since they’ve been talking about implementing actual group authoring at Tumblr and not this strange and useless Groups function, we may see group Tumblr sites sooner than later; because the staff Tumblr has to be one!

I’ve been a fan of Wufoo.com back when we needed a good form manager for grounduphiphop.com back in 2006 - a free one.
After their beta stage, they began charging but kept a very competitive and fair pay structure for users who needed more forms, entries, disk space etc. They still offer a free option now.
A new feature they’ve included is user management, which I think is worth checking out an upgrade. Basically it allows for multiple logins to the same account - for small businesses - and permissions management.

To alleviate the issue I’ve been having of multiple posts coming in from my Twitter updates, I’m implementing this dirty Wordpress hack to delete duplicate posts before we go to print.
1. Open up wp-includes/post.php in your favorite editor
2. at approx line 703 you will find the following line :
if ($post_name_check || in_array($post_name, $wp_rewrite->feeds) ) {
3. After this insert a new line of code :
return 0;
4. save (you did make a backup, right?).
5. All done.
Last December, UpstartBlogger.com had a change of hands and has been going through some transitions over the last few months. Recently there was a site malfunction and, as a result, traffic was lost. Now. the not-so-new UB publisher, Ashley Morgan, is making a break and making things up to his readers.
Firstly there is 2 new projects Ashley is employing writers for. Both are two projects I’ve considered doing myself:
And, to bring us to why I’m really posting about Upstart Blogger suddenly, we come to Ashley’s giveaway.
To get the Mac Book Air simply link to Upstart Blogger and leave a comment below so I can record all the participating links in one place. At the end of May I will put the names of all those of you who link to me into a hat, draw one out and send the lucky winner a shiny new Mac Book Air.
5 iPhones will also be available soon!
Somehow I missed this announcement from a web developer company that I’ve liked since I started using Podserve so long ago. Check this out:
Over the past three years we have delivered cool and innovative social applications to clients like Lego, FX and TechData. While our applications were cool and innovative, our business model was stuck in the past, well not anymore! I am pleased to announce that Big in Japan’s new development model is 100% free. Got an idea for a cool application for your business? Simply provide the plans to Big in Japan and we will build it, host it and manage it for free! What is the catch? None. We will do it all for free. This new pricing plan is effective today, April 1st, 2008. If you want to learn more, call 214.550.2003 and ask for Alex. Cheers!
I’m impressed.
